摘要
The requirements of the Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) domain are varied, and are known to significantly evolve throughout the aging process. Consequently, technological solutions that aim to provide support within this domain need to be adaptable. Although much technology exists in the domain of aging in place, much research has been developed disjointedly: without any consideration for device interoperability-a key requirement for enabling flexible solutions which adapt to these changing requirements. In this paper we investigate current ontologies to determine whether any individual ontology caters for the requirements of the AAL domain.
