The paper presents the influence of forest management on the recreational utilisation of forests. Analyses were carried out concerning the productive and recreational functions performed by managed lowland forests in the Polish lakelands. Time consumption of forest operations was calculated and individual questionnaire surveys were conducted with a representative group of 947 adult Poles as part of the studies.
