Estimation of effectivness factor on-line and fault tolerant control

摘要
A new approach to integrated fault detection and isolation (FDI) and fault tolerant control (FTC) system design with consideration of both sensor and actuator faults is proposed in this paper. An effectiveness factor of the faulty actuator or sensor is determined on-line and utilized for system reconfiguration. A reconfigurable adaptive state feedback control based on the effectiveness factor estimated on-line is provided to keep stability, recover the performance of pre-fault system, and also balance the control inputs of actuators in post fault system. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated using an aircraft example.
