Discussion on Teaching Reform of Engineering Mechanics

Engineering Mechanics is an important fundamental course for engineering major in regular higher education. To solve the problems that the subject engineering mechanics does not correspond to the major in contents and teaching hours is inadequate compared with its contents, and considering the features of this subject: Being highly systematical, more concepts, reasoning and education, the author rearranges the teaching system, contents and structure, increases the perceptual knowledge about the subject and improves teaching methods and cultivates students self-study ability, innovation ability and improves checking system, so as to stimulate interests in study.
