摘要
The method "MUltiphase Traveltime Inversion (MUTI)" has been improved and optimized. We conducted 3-D velocity tomography of the southern Korean Peninsula within 34.5 degrees N similar to 39 degrees N, 125 degrees E similar to 130 degrees E by using seismic data on land and near ocean. The velocity structure features of sediment, basement, upper crust, lower crust, Conrad and Moho interfaces were analyzed. We found obvious velocity differences among different geological provinces, especially the Kyonggi Massif and Okchon Fold Zone, Kyonggi Massif and Taebaesan Fold Zone, Kyonggi Massif and Imjingang Fold Zone. The velocity difference between sea and land is obvious.
