Certification training: Hitting a "worthwhile" target

AQC participants will experience useful methods that can give ASQ Certification examinees some quite powerful thinking tools necessary for success in the ASQ Certification Examination procedure. This is not a session in "How to pass a certification test." It is, however, a participative session for demonstrating and experiencing several techniques in thinking, remembering, and applying basic test taking skills, that should enhance an examinee's probability of success. The best method for certification success is to know the relevant body of-knowledge (BOK) and apply it to a short-term-approximately four (4) hours-examination process. The methods cited in this paper and the presentation at AQC 2000, though anecdotal, i.e., not tested scientifically, have been and continue to be successful for the ASQ testing process. The following techniques are semi-unique. They will give the examinee extra tools that are both necessary and sufficient for making the "common practice" of explicating pseudo-typical and fabricated questions much more beneficial.
