Segmentation of remote sensing imagery based on quadtree structures

摘要
A scheme for image segmentation is presented in order to combine spatial information, hierarchical representations and statistical methods. This approach utilizes a double criterion when a classification of the boundary is made in each level of the quadtree structure. Experimental results demonstrate the power of our method for remote sensing data such as SAR and airborne camera images.
