A Research on the Absence of Humanities Cultivation in College Photography Education

College photography education has rapidly developed into a basic subject in art school in regard to scale and influence. While the present education is catered to the pure teaching of operating camera as a machine, the significance of cultivating humanities as a whole is largely ingored at the same time. The absence of humanities cultivation, as a problem, has long existed in the photography major of colleges and universities, which overall affects students' level and ability. This paper based on teaching practice tries to uncover and analyze the above problem, thus puts forward the corresponding measures to correct, improve and develop specific and effective proposals.
