摘要
The mixing enthalpies of liquid Fe-Ni-Zr alloys were studied at 1873 K by means of a high-temperature isoperibolic calorimeter. The study was performed along the section x(Fe)/x(Ni) = 1/1 at x(Zr) = 0-0.45. The limiting partial enthalpy of mixing of undercooled liquid zirconium in liquid Fe50Ni50 (at.%) alloy is (-139 +/- 6) kJ.mol(-1). The integral mixing enthalpy are negative over the investigated composition range. For the integral mixing enthalpy, an analytical expression was obtained by the least square fit of the experimental results and relevant literature data using the Redlich-Kister-Muggianu polynomial. The mixing thermodynamic functions of the Fe-Ni-Zr liquid alloys were modelled in the framework of the associate solution model. Copyright (C) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
