摘要
An experimental study has been carried out on a single-stage compression-absorption system for simultaneous heating and cooling with R22 and E181 (DMETEG) as the working fluid pair. An absorber, being the major component of the system, is designed to absorb the amount of vapour that can be handled by the selected refrigerant compressor. The designs of the other components of the system are based on the design result of the absorber. The experimental test results have been compared with the results obtained from the theoretical analysis of the system. Though the experimental results are found to match the theoretical results qualitatively, the performance of the experimental test rig is found to be lower than that of the theoretical predictions due to various heat losses from the system and non-ideal compression.
