摘要
This paper presents a new technique to improve the reliability and stability for driving permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) systems using a reduced-order observer. In this paper, the PMSM drive system is modeled as a linear mechanical model. Then the proposed reduced-ordered observer is implemented with the minimum equations from the mechanical model. Also, the practical implementation of the observer is discussed by calculating the unknown parameters of the reduced-order observer. Finally, to validate the operation and to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, hardware-in-the-loop results are provided.
