摘要
Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) have evolved to provide a massive computational power. It includes many core processors with hundreds of cores capable of running thousands of threads in parallel. In this paper, we utilize the parallel processing power of GPU to accelerate the simulation of MIMO systems, NVIDIA's Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) is employed, flat fading channel is considered and a soft-output sphere decoder is implemented. Simulation results show that with our optimized GPU decoder, the decoding time can be reduced by about 40% on average.
