Application of Big Data Analytics Method to Predicting Student's Achievement

For a long time, a large number of student's achievement data hasn't been used effectively. In order to solve this long-standing problem, this paper presented a student's achievement forecasting method based on Artificial Neural Network( ANN). This method uses Apriori algorithm to analyze correlativity between each course and do statistical analysis, and chooses the most relevant course score as the basic data of ANN, and thereby achievepredicting student's achievement by analyzing student's historical achievements. The results show that the accuracy of the student's achievement prediction model has been up to 85%. The model can predict any target's achievement accurately.
