摘要
Background: The association between infrequent cannabis use and biopsychosocial correlates is controversial. Objective: To determine what the association between frequency of cannabis use and biopsychosocial stress is. Methods: This survey examined a Swiss sample of 5,448 adolescents aged 16-18 years. Results: Cannabis use 1-3 times per month was associated with more daily smoking, more regular alcohol consumption, more physical complaints, more psychosocial stress and for women with a less positive attitude towards life. For women, cannabis use 1-2 times per week was related to higher depression scores compared to no or less frequent use. Conclusions: Monthly cannabis use can be an indicator of more biopsychosocial stress, suggesting interventions such as education or counseling.
