摘要：
This paper focuses on improvement of system performance through scheduling on parallel web servers. A number of scheduling policies is investigated. A two level policy that uses both the number of embedded objects in a web page as well as the request type demonstrates superior performance in comparison to policies that do not use knowledge of web page characteristics.
