We give bounds for the functions f(v)(x) = l(v)+1(x)/xl(v)(x) and gv(x)= l'(v)(x)/l(v)(x), using the Mittag-Leffler expansion. Some of the obtained bounds are already known and other are sharper than the known or extend the validity of v. (C) 2011 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
