摘要
In this article, fiber Bragg grating chirped tuning method is theoretically and experimentally demonstrated. Using a double-arched structure and a metal diaphragm, a vertical pressure can be transmitted to grating. According to different metal diaphragm shapes and grating pasted paths, by changing the pressure, fiber grating spectrum chirped tuning can be achieved. When it is pressurized, the internal strain distributions of metal diaphragm are simulated using finite element method. This uniform fiber Bragg grating chirped tuning method is also experimentally studied. The chirped tuning of fiber Bragg grating can be achieved. By introducing a correction factor, the theoretical and experimental results agree very well. (C) 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
