It is frequent that roof falling occurred in mine. However, safety assessment methods about the major hazard installations are very simple and inconsistent nowadays. The index system of the assessment methods about the roof falling accident's hazard installations is installed in the thesis. Power values are ensured by analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and it uses safety inspected list as well as the fuzzy synthetic appraisal method combined to make the safety assessment method. We received a reasonable condition with theory of the thesis. The method in the thesis will provide foundation for safety management in coal mine.
