We experimentally show an ultra-wideband (130 nm), compact (similar to 50 mm), low insertion loss (< 2.7 dB), and low-polarization-dependent-loss (< 0.25 dB) five-core 1x8 core selective switch employing a two-dimensionally arranged MEMS array. (c) 2021 The Author(s)
