The willingness of the doctoral students of a regional university to international mobility

摘要：
Several studies investigating migration focuses on the fact that young and highly educated people have the highest willingness to migrate. In our research, we examined the intention for migration of PhD students with active student status in the spring semester of 2016/2017 and the autumn semester of 2017/2018. Then, we analysed whether gender, age, marital status, parents' educational level, different types of mobility capital, migration shell and embeddedness influence the intention to migrate. Our analysis is based on the PSQLMA 2017 database. Our results show that the embeddedness of PhD students in Debrecen counteracts the migration while the migration shell reinforces the intention to emigrate.
