摘要
Most important problem in an interconnected area is to maintain frequency in a tolerable limit. In this paper study of automatic load frequency control is carried out for a multi-area power system using an intelligent controller. NARMA-L2 controller is used for investigating the dynamic response of the frequency and Tie-line power in the interconnected area. By using the conventional controller the performance is improved, but it is slow. The efficiency of an intelligent controller for frequency control is carried by using MATLAB software. The Peak-overshoot, Peak-undershoot, Settling-time of the responses carried out by the trained controller is better than the conventional controller.
