摘要
Fault detection is addressed within a statistical framework in a certain class of nonlinear systems with nuisance parameters. The corresponding inference problem is stated. Particular emphasis is put on dealing with nuisance parameters by using a linearization of the nonlinear mapping of the nuisance parameter into the observation vector.
