"Philosophers" and "Philosopheresses": for a New History of Philosophy

The exhumation of women philosophers and the reflection on their inclusion in the corpus is the best thing that has happened to the history of modern philosophy for a long time. Firstly, this space is where the methods of the history of philosophy are reflected most acutely, between contextualism and appropriationism. It then powerfully legitimizes interest in the history of philosophy: each thought is nourished by a collective work bringing together problems and debates where women play an important role.
