摘要
Underwater plasma discharge is used for surface activation of polypropylene fabrics with subsequent immobilisation of silver. The plasma generated at atmospheric pressure is preferred as this is a low cost and environmental considerate technique in comparison with other techniques. On the other hand, the antibacterial properties of silver are well known. The underwater discharge [2-4] makes possible immobilisation of silver on surface textiles such as polypropylene (PP) textile.
