摘要
High school and college students are among the groups most affected by depression. Depression negatively affects learning, academic success, and quality of life (QoL) Understanding the relationship between depression and QoL is important to identify risk factors and vulnerable groups in the educational context. This article describes the protocol of a systematic review with the objective of estimating the prevalence of depression and to identify the relationship between depression and QoL in high school and college students. Consolidating these findings is essential for more effective and integrated guidance on public health and education policies, with a focus on promoting mental health in students. Systematic review registration: PROSPERO CRD 42020183984.
