摘要
In order to attain the quality at health institutions, it is one of the overemphasized issues that knowing what does quality mean, what is its aim and it does not only base on the patients but also the staff working there. This research aims to search the opinions of the nurses about the quality applications and quality works carried out at their hospitals and make up the noticed deficiencies by determining the situations that prevent their adaptation to quality and accordingly to make contribution to eliminate the problems that can be seen as an obstacle on nurse basis in order to reach the intended level in service quality objectives. The starting question of this research is "What are the main factors that affect the opinions of the nurses about the quality works in health care?" The researcher has conducted a questionnaire for this research over 110 nurses who are working in a public hospital. The data collected during the research has been analyzed via SPSS 15.0 program. The overall reliability of the scale is 0.89 according to the reliability analysis. In this research, it has been determined that while grade point average of the nurses about quality in health care services is in mid -level, general point average of the quality works at their hospitals is low. It has been observed that there is no difference between the attitudes of male and female nurses towards the quality works in health care services, works in quality process improvement and their attitudes related to opinions and requests about the quality works. Moreover, the attitudes of the nurses, who are between the ages of 26-35 years old, towards the quality applications in health care services are higher than the attitudes of the nurses aged 45 and over. The attitudes of married nurses towards the works carried out for quality process improvement are higher than the attitudes of the single nurses. It has become evident that the attitudes of the nurses working in the administrative units towards the quality process improvement works carried out at their hospitals are higher than the attitudes of the nurses working in surgery room. It has been observed that as long as the average age of the nurses increases their attitudes to quality applications in health care service decreases. It does not affect the attitudes of the nurses towards the quality applications in health care service whether they have (receive) quality education or not. However, it has been determined that while the attitudes of the nurses that have quality education towards the opinions and requests for quality works are high, the attitudes of the nurses that do not have (receive) quality education in health towards the quality improvement works are not high.
