摘要：
Competition intensity has many indifferent implications in the fields of economics and biology, while competition intensity in construction is comprehended mostly in line with economics theories. This paper presents an effort given to rethink competition intensity from biology to construction. A great deal of literature is reviewed as a basis and comparison is subsequently made to examine the difference of research perspectives between construction and biology. Discussion and conclusion are presented with the recommendation of a number of interesting topics for future research to continue in the construction context.
