Error testing at planar near-field and far-field range of anechoic chamber

摘要
Several error tests were mode at the elevated far-field antenna range of 8.6 meter distance between AUT and range antenna, and the planar near-field range of 3.5 m x 3.5 m in anechoic chamber, as a parts of two range validations used for development guideline of Communications Broadcasting Satellite (CBS) dual offset reflector antenna with the Orbit /FR Model including positioner and scanner of planar near-field antenna range, and the transmission Roll of far-field antenna range. The far-field and planar near-field antenna range tests were performed with standard gain horn, and dual Offset satellite reflector antenna at 21 GHz frequency. This paper describes the error source, test method and test result at far-field and near-field antenna range.
