Zinc-responsive dermatosis in an indian wolf

摘要：
An eight-year-old intact male indian wolf was presented with a 6 months history of skin problems. Clinical examination revealed alopecia, erythema, crusting and scaling on the head, the rump and the legs. The histopathological evaluation from lesional biopsies revealed the distinct features of zinc-responsive dermatosis. The clinical and dermatohistopathologic features of this skin disease, which is caused by zinc deficiency, are described on the basis of literature of small animal dermatology lacking data refered to wild animal dermatology.
