Four periods of intraplate volcanic activity are determined on the basis of Pacific seamounts age distribution. Two of them are dated as Middle and Late Cretaceous and coincide with the period of abrupt spreading rate increasing. The other two occurred in Eocene and Early Miocene and also coincide with the period of increasing of the ocean crust accretion rate. The final stages of the intraplate volcanism correspond to the periods of phosphatization on the seamounts.
