摘要
A Tacton's Compass was designed and developed by this study. The compass can help blind or visually impaired people to identify the direction with tactile vibration. In this study, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was applied to analyze users' interactive attitude and willingness for the tacton's compass. The TAM consists of four major constructs, namely: "the system operation quality", "the tactile infounation quality ", "the interactive self-efficacy", and "the task- technology fit ". A total of 30 subjects were invited to perform a tacton's compass experiment and fill some feedback in the questionnaire. The Results showed that the system operation quality, tactile information quality, and interactive self-efficacy both affect the user's attitude concerning the compass of usefulness and ease of use. Furthermore, users revealed highly willingness to continuously use the tacton's compass. The results of this study will help the development of related assistive device for the visually impaired.
