摘要
Crude methanol extract from Hibiscus rosa-sinensis flowers was tested for any antiteratogenic (capacity to counteract embryogenic malformations), or anglogenic (ability to Induce or promote blood vessel formation) activity on 3-d old and 7-d old duck embryos. H. rose-sinensis crude extract has an antiteratogenic activity when administered at a minimum concentration of 30 x 10(-6) g mL(-1) at the early stage of organogenesis. Furthermore, at this concentration, the extract can counteract the anti-anglogenicity of retinoic acid by promoting anglogeneals.
