East-west Economic Cooperation Mechanism Analysis and Policy Proposals Based on Evolutionary Game Theory

The east-west economic cooperation has a very important strategic significance in the coordinated development of regional economy. To explore the east-west cooperation mechanism we need start from the enterprises' behavioral pattern, for enterprises are the subject of the east-west economic cooperation. The paper discusses the intrinsic motivation of the east-west cooperation behavior through the evolutionary game theory. Studies have suggested that, for enterprise's cooperation between the western and eastern, a self-organizing system, the co-earnings and costs are important parameters of its evolution; and the government should establish relevant policies considering cooperative self-organizing system construction and operating environment optimization.
