摘要
We study the problem of insufficiently detailed description of the requirements imposed by the state system for guaranteeing the uniformity of measurements in the Russian Federation on the developed and certified measurement methods used for the mechanical testing of various materials. We emphasize the urgency of the problem of compatibility of the requirements imposed on the metrological support of the results of quantitative chemical analyses and indirect results of mechanical testing for the wear resistance of materials in the process of their friction against fixed abrasives. To guarantee the accuracy of measurements of the characteristics of wear resistance of studied materials, we propose to use the grain size of the abrasive material and the frequency of rotation of the abrasive disc as variable factors. In order to establish the requirements to the metrological characteristics of the procedures of mechanical testing, in particular, in finding the relative wear resistance of materials, we justified the conditions required for precision measurements. We also present the results of multistage experiments aimed at testing materials for wear resistance performed with the use of various investigated and consumable materials, measuring instruments, and testing equipment. We also propose and justify the conditions of planning experiments in the case of determination of the other relative mechanical characteristics of the studied materials with an aim to establish precision indicators in the development of methods of mechanical testing for abrasive wear. The application of the accumulated results would enable the developers of the methods for mechanical testing to establish the metrological characteristics of materials in agreement with all requirements of the State System for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements of the Russian Federation.
