On the stability of binary reaction-diffusion systems

摘要：
A peculiar Liapunov functional V is introduced for a binary reaction-diffusion system of PDEs. The sign of dV/dt along the solutions is linked, by a direct simple relation, to the eigenvalues. The best stability-instability properties are obtained through a suitable linear system of ODEs.
