Problems and suggestions of China's overseas direct investment

This paper analyzes existing problems in China's ODI (Overseas Direct Investment). It points out that small firm scale, dispersed business, low integrated capability, low operating profits, irrational investment structure, and lack of external coordinated planning, restrictions of foreign exchange credits, etc, are the main problems in China's ODI at present. Based on these analysis results, it raises feasible suggestions from the macroscopically view of management mechanism, taxation and financial policy, supervising system and from the microcosmic view of firms management, and restructuring. It aims to bestead and enlighten the study of problems of China's ODI and the establishment of related policy.
