摘要
This article is an excerpt from the ongoing research for the Master's Degree Program in Territorial Dynamics and Societies in the Amazon -PDTSA of the Federal University of South and Southeast of Para- UNIFESSPA, which studies digital culture at the public high school Macario Dontas, with media literacy and multimodality being emphasized from the axes: technology and society, citizenship and digital literacy. The theoretical basis of the research is based on Pierre Levy's (2010) concept of collective intelligence, Manuel Castells' (2015) theory of the power of communication, and Bauer's (2011) culturalist approach to the use of media. The research is qualitative with an interdisciplinary approach, the method used was observation in the locus, in this case, the locus was the Whatsapp groups: 1) pedagogical coordination, seeking to follow the dynamics of the school in the transition from the classroom teaching to remote teaching. 2) Whatsapp groups that functioned as classrooms, intending to analyze the use of multimodolity of media language by teachers and students. The research may contribute to reflections on how the school, in its role of promoting access to knowledge, is conducting educational practices that promote the digital literacy of high school youth. The research may constitute an instrument to foster policies in the southeast of Para aimed at the continuing education of teachers in media literacy and digital inclusion of youth.
