摘要
Mn-Zn ferrites doped with different amounts of Y2O3 were prepared by conventional two-step synthesis process at different temperatures. On the basis of analyses of the microstructures and magnetic properties of the as-prepared samples, the sintering temperature of Y2O3-doped Mn-Zn ferrites is optimized at 1300 degrees C. The results also indicate that Y3+ ions can enter into the lattices of Mn-Zn ferrites, and the saturation magnetization can be increased, the coercivity will be decreased, and the initial permeability can be enhanced with appropriate amounts of Y2O3 doped.
