摘要：
In patients with diabetes, the clinical course of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is often more severe than in patients without diabetes. PAD patients with diabetes have a 1.6-fold increased risk of amputation and a 2-fold increased risk of mortality. The purpose of this work was to assess the efficacy of endovascular revascularization for PAD in patients with diabetes compared to patients without diabetes. The basic literature and our own clinical experience are discussed. With new techniques in the field of endovascular revascularization for PAD, there are no differences in clinical outcomes between patients with diabetes and those without.
