598.1-nm sum-frequency mixing of a dual-wavelength Q-switched Nd:YAP laser

摘要
The 598.1-nm coherent radiation using a 1079.5-nm and 1341.4-nm dual-wavelength Q-switched Nd:YAP laser is reported. An output energy of 10.5 mJ with a pulse duration of 45 ns was obtained at a laser input energy, equal to 149 mJ. The energy-conversion efficiency was similar to 7% with peak power equal to 0.23 MW.
