摘要
Heterogeneities in surface energy are demonstrated to indeed have a major impact on the performance of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) based on a variety of semiconductors, and the current understanding of these technologically important devices is significantly extended. The results suggest that the heterogeneous nature of the semiconductor/dielectric interface must always be taken into account in the design of future OFETs. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
