In this paper, two-component acrylate structure adhesive were prepared by using methyl methacrylate (MMA), 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (2-HEMA) and methacrylic acid (MAA) as main monomers, cumyl hydroperoxide (CHP) as an initiator. and triethylamine (TEA) as an accelerator. The effect of mass ratio of A and B, the amount of the methacrylic acid and the nitrile rubber on the Shear strength of the prepared SGA were investigated. The effect of the amount of nitrile rubber on the initial viscosity of the prepared SGA was also discussed. The results of the study arc as follows: (a) When A and B were mixed for 12 days, the characteristic peaks of the carbon-carbon double bond were reduced. (b) When the mass ratio of component A to component B is 0.8: 1, 0.9: 1, 1: 1, 1.1: 1, and 1.2: 1, the mass ratio of component A to component B increases, the Shear strength increases. The Shear strength of SGA is larger when the mass ratio of A and B components is 1.2:1. (c) With the increase of the amount of methacrylic acid, the Shear strength of SGA first increases and then decreases. When the amount of methacrylic acid is 6.5g. the Shear strength of SGA is larger. (d) With the increase of the amount of nitrile rubber, the Shear strength of SGA first increases and then decreases. When the amount of nitrite rubber is 3.5g, the Shear strength of SGA is larger. (e) With the increase of the amount of nitrite rubber, the initial viscosity of SGA increased first and then decreased. The initial viscosity of SGA is larger when the amount of nitrile rubber is 3.5g.
