摘要：
The thin slab technology offers an economic alternative to produce hot rolled strip. The development aims more and more the production of thin strip with the objective to substitute cold rolled strip and thus to avoid a complete production step. As a precondition the hot rolled strip must fulfill high demands concerning tolerances of thickness and flatness, surface structure and mechanical properties. The paper presents the results of an investigation of the properties of strip produced in an ISP plant.
