Linearisation of a 3D printed flexible tactile sensor based on piezoresistive sensing

摘要
We show that the output of a 3D printed, flexible tactile sensor can be improved markedly using a differential measurement. We 3D printed a cantilever beam with two symmetric piezoresistive sensors. The differential measurement, obtained by the subtraction of the measurements on the individual elements, shows a signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SINAD) of 18dB.
