摘要
Basis of field observations for iceberg drift is a data archive obtained with the help of the coordinate drifting ARGOS buoys. In the last time, the coordinate buoys on the basis of the INMARSAT system are actively used at the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI) for positioning of icebergs having a high precession of determination and equidistant temporal intervals. A model of iceberg drift is represented in combination with a three-dimensional hydro-dynamical model of ice-ocean circulation. It was revealed that the most probable producers of icebergs, appearing in the central part of the Barents Sea, are the glaciers of the Franz Josef Land.
