摘要：

Capillary silica-based monolithic column as a new media for separation has shown great potential in the field of chromatography. The sol-gel method preparing capillary silica-based monolithic columns is introdced in this review. Special attention is paid to the factors influencing the preparation of the silica-based monolithic columns. The applications of the columns in capillary high performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrochromatography are also reviewed.
