摘要:
This study examined how the different achievement goal profiles (approach-avoidance to learning or performance), and the social goals (relationship and responsibility) affect physical education students' fair play. 304 students from two different high schools participated in the study. Results revealed that performance goals positively correlated to hard play and victory, while learning goals (approach and avoidance) positively correlated to enjoyment. Similarly, social goals (responsibility and social relation) were negatively correlated with hard play and positively with diversion. There were also found significant differences on some of these variables according to gender and sport practice besides physical education. Finally, a hierarchical cluster analysis uncovered three independent fair play profiles related to the other variables studied.
