A two-phase flow mathematic model was proposed to investigate the behavior of the Ruhrstahl Heraeus (RH) Degassing treatment driven by gas bubbles. The simulation, based on Eulerian-Eulerian approach, was carried out to predict the circulation flow rates at different parameters of immersion tubes (snorkels) by commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code FLUENT6.0. The simulation results of the relationship between circulation flow rate and snorkel diameter, immersion depth, immersion location and distance between the snorkels by present model could be helpful for engineering practice.
