Ego structure and ego-consciousness rest on this basal life-organization in the id. They are the foundation for human culture, art - and psychoanalysis. The permeability of Psychical structures is the crucial factor in creativity and the transformation of experiences and memory. Traumatic experiences are not susceptible of transformation. Enactment is an important mode that enables transformation to take place by drawing upon this basal organization.
