Dual-Band Wilkinson Power Divider Using Uniplanar Metamaterial-Based EBGs

摘要
The integration of a metamaterial-based electromagnetic bandgap (MTM-EBG) structure into the branches of a Wilkinson power divider (WPD) allow the device to exhibit dual-band behaviour, for which each band possesses insertion loss within 0.3 dB of conventional devices. The successful application of MTM-EBGs into such a device suggests similar dual-or multi-band functionalities are possible through their integration into a wide range of microwave devices.
